Simon Youth Community Scholarships

The Simon Youth Foundation (SYF) is a national nonprofit that works to improve dropout rates and increase college accessibility.  Each year they award a $1500 scholarship to high school senior that lives within 50 miles of a Simon Mall property (Wolfchase Galleria).  The application deadline is March 1, with recipients being notified in May.  Students can apply at www.syf.org/scholarships. 

Step Ahead Scholarship

The Step Ahead Scholarship program is a collaborative effort with Girls Inc. of Memphis to support young women in the Memphis community.  The scholarship is available to any young woman in Shelby County age 17 - 30 years old with plans to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.
